And they lived happily ever after...
Gosh, I'm hoping that's how it ends!! With so much left to do... The kids (and me) are beginning to get that summer itch. Our last day is June 13th.
We've been working on fairy tales this week. We read Kate and the Beanstalk and wrote the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
Today, the kids listened to The Three Little Pigs. We brainstormed a list of what they'd build their houses out of. Here are a couple of examples.
I like the wrting idea for The Three Little Pigs. I can see that the kids came up with some very creative ideas.

June 13th! When do you start school?

JUNE 13TH! Haha, that's early for us. We've been starting after Labor Day the last few years.

So in August when we report back the 13th (school starts the 16th), we will all be jealous of you. :-)

Ohh, but I'll be thinking of how soon you'll be out once we begin. Haha.
DeleteOkay, first....lion roars? LOVE it! Such a cute name for your comments.
ReplyDeleteI really like this idea for the three little pigs. This year I did a little mini unit and I will definitely add this writing idea to it and extend it a bit....thanks for sharing your idea!!!
