A Ball for Daisy

We're continuing to work with wordless picture books.

We reviewed looking through the pictures and creating a story.  After looking through the story we moved on to writing.

Each student was given a picture again and they had to put the story in order.  Then they orally told the story.

It was great to hear kid's ideas on how they could add details to the sentences.  Our focus was also on having capitals and periods.  Once they practiced writing it on their wipe off board they wrote their sentence on a strip.

I put this out in our lobby so others could read what we wrote!
